The NOPD needs the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle used in an armed robbery in the 1400 block of Pauger.
On January 27, 2017. at approximately 12:25 a.m., the victims reported that they were approached by two unknown black males armed with handguns. The two perpetrators demanded the victims’ property and the victims complied. The two unknown males then fled the scene in a red Dodge pickup truck.
The suspects are described as black males in their early 20s, approximately 5’10”- 6’tall with thin builds. One of the two males was wearing a dark camouflage hoodie.

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
