The NOPD is seeking to locate a suspect in an aggravated assault that occurred on January 23, 2017 in the 1500 block of Pauger Street.
At about 9:35 a.m., the pictured black male was seen on surveillance video entering a white Ford F-150 pickup truck parked in the area and rummaging through it. The subject then exited the vehicle and started to pull on vehicle door handles in the block. A witness observed the subject and confronted him, at which time the subject fled and the witness pursued. The subject then allegedly produced a black semi-automatic handgun from his waist and pointed it at the witness, who hid behind a vehicle while the subject fled the scene.

The subject is described as a black male, seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering.
