UPDATE: NOPD Arrests Suspect in Armed Robbery on St. Ann Street

Our previous story: 

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Curtis Belton (DOB: 11-23-1993) in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on January 2, 2017 in the 2800 block of St. Ann Street.

At about 8:50 p.m., Belton is believed to have committed an armed robbery in the area, holding the victim at gunpoint using a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanding money from the victim. Belton then allegedly fled the scene in possession of the victim’s cell phone and debit card.

Belton is described as a black male standing about 6’0” tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has a cross tattoo located between his eyes. Belton was last seen wearing a dark denim jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark pants, and a red baseball cap.
