New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Wanted is Ronald Washington (pictured), Black male, DOB 05/06/1981. Note Ronald Washington is considered armed and dangerous. Citizens should not confront Ronald Washington and should call police instead.
According to investigators, around 11:56 p.m. on January 7, 2026 near the intersection of Shirley Drive and Copernicus Street Ronald Washington threatened the victim with a handgun. A warrant for the arrest of Ronald Washington is on file.
All persons are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
