Today, January 13, 2025, the NOPD arrested a third suspect in the fatal shooting of a store employee which occurred during a robbery attempt on December 31, 2024.
Arrested was Anjanau 'Henny' Davis, Black female DOB: 10-14-1999. She was arrested early this morning in the Fifth District by members of NOPD's Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) and the U.S. Marshal Service. She was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on charges of second degree murder.
Previously arrested were: Nathanial K. Carpenter, Black male, DOB 07/11/2000 who is charged with second degree murder and Adrian Harris, Black male, DOB 11/06/1997 who is charged with being a principal to second degree murder.
According to investigators, the three suspects committed an armed robbery around 6:09 p.m., at a business in the 4600 block of Alcee Fortier Boulevard. During the course of the robbery, a store employee was shot by the perpetrator. The victim died three days later and was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as Thanh Vu.
Through investigation, Homicide detectives were able to identify all three suspects.
Carpenter and Harris were found to be already incarcerated in the Orleans Parish Justice Center on charges not related to the murder. They were re-booked accordingly.
