The following is a weekly report of citywide crime statistics compiled by the NOPD Analytics Unit for the period of January 5-11, 2025.

Notable arrests made
During the listed week, the NOPD also made the following notable arrest(s):
- On January 9, the NOPD arrested Andrea Davillier II (black female, DOB; 02-10-1991) in connection with an aggravated assault incident that occurred on January 8, 2024, at the intersection of Law and Pauger streets, where Davillier allegedly drove her vehicle into a group of high school band members. Davillier was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on one count of aggravated assault.
- On January 11, NOPD Violent Crime Abatement Team investigators and Louisiana State Police Troop B and Bureau of Investigations arrested Marvin Banks (black male, DOB: 01-28-1996) in the NOPD’s investigation of a homicide that occurred on January 7, 2025, at the intersection of Elysian Fields Avenue and North Galvez Street. Banks was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on one count of second-degree murder.
- On January 13, members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Anjanau “Henny” Davis (black female, DOB: 10-14-1999) in the NOPD’s investigation of a homicide that occurred on December 31, 2024, in the 4600 block of Alcee Fortier Boulevard. Davis was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice center on one count of principle to second-degree murder. Davis is the third suspect arrested in connection with this incident.
Gun arrests (arrests made under LA RS 14:95 and sub-items)
Year to date, the NOPD has made nine (9) arrests for illegal possession of a firearm. This is a 59-percent decrease compared to 22 arrests made during the same period in 2024.
Gun seizures
Additionally, as of January 6, the NOPD in 2025 had seized 49 firearms in criminal investigations, a 47-percent decrease compared to 93 such seizures made during the same period in 2024.
