The NOPD is investigating a triple homicide in the First District.
Around 9:19 a.m., after responding to a wellness check, First District officers discovered three deceased individuals inside a location in the 1700 block of Gentilly Blvd.
Upon arrival, three unresponsive victims deceased at the scene.
No further information is available at this time.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will determine official cause of death and release the victims’ names upon completion of autopsy and notification of families.
Homicide Detective Rob Long is leading the ongoing investigation.
