On January 19, 2023, members of the NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Brad Bingham (white male, DOB: 12-31-1987) in connection with multiple outstanding warrants for incidents in January 2023 and one incident that occurred in April of 2022.

Bingham had been sought in connection with a carjacking that occurred at the intersection of Tchoupitoulas and Calliope streets on January 9, 2023. 

He was charged with use of a firearm in a robbery and carjacking in that case and is facing charges on five additional warrants.  Those charges include attempted first degree murder and armed robbery for an incident that occurred on April 18, 2022, in the 4400 block of Dauphine Street.

Bingham has also been charged with illegally carrying a firearm in an incident that occurred on January 19, 2023, at the intersection of Tchoupitoulas and Calliope Streets.

He was also wanted on three municipal attachments.
