Person of Interest Sought in Fifth District Missing Person Investigation

The NOPD is seeking to locate a person of interest for questioning in an ongoing missing persons investigation.

On December 22, 2021, Krystel Journee (pictured at right, black female, DOB: 01-25-1982) reportedly left her residence on her way to a concert and has not returned home since that time. Journee reportedly left her residence as a passenger in a black 2009 Toyota Avalon bearing Louisiana license plate 102EQM. The vehicle is believed to belong to Roosevelt Marshall (pictured at left, black male, DOB: 11-27-1981), who is believed to be the last person to see Journee before she was reported missing.

Marshall is sought for questioning only at this time as a person of interest and is not currently wanted on criminal charges regarding this investigation.

Anyone with additional information on the whereabouts of Krystel Journee or Roosevelt Marshall is asked to contact NOPD Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050.
