NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD arrested Nakeiah Andrews, Jermaine Jones, and Devain Washington (pictured) in connection to multiple vehicle burglaries that occurred on January 17, 2021 in the Third District.

During the investigation, detectives were able to quickly identify the vehicle the suspects reportedly used to commit auto burglaries in the 4300 block of Eastern Street, 2000 and 2300 block of Stephen Girard Street, and 5700 block of St. Anthony Avenue.  Once alerted, Orleans Parish Levee Board Officers located the vehicle and after a pursuit apprehended Andrews, Jones, and Washington.  Officers also discovered multiple stolen handguns in their possession.

All three subjects are booked into the Orleans Parish Criminal Justice Center and are charged with various crimes including simple criminal damage, possession of stolen things, possession of a stolen vehicle, and armed robbery.
