Suspect Sought in Fourth District Simple Robbery

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect in the investigation of a simple robbery that occurred in the 4000 block of Behrman Hwy. on January 28, 2020.

At about 11:46 a.m., the pictured subject entered a local retail store and approached an employee, asking questions about products. Through intimidation, the subject demanded that the employee give him money from the cash register. After taking the money, the subject fled the location on foot in an unknown direction. 

The subject is identified as an unknown brown skinned black male with a medium build and low-cut hairstyle. The subject also had a beard and mustache. The subject was about 5’10” to 6’0” tall and about 180 to 200 pounds in weight. He appeared to be in his early 30s. The subject was attired in an olive-green fishing hat, a white t-shirt, dark blue jean pants and black, orange and white Nike shoes.
