The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Slick Jones (DOB: 06-21-1999) in the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred in the 5300 block of Franklin Avenue on January 21, 2019.
At about 9:15 a.m., the pictured subject – later positively identified by detectives as Jones – allegedly entered the vehicle of a customer at the Happy Discount store as the victim pumped gas. When confronted by the victim, Jones reportedly produced a black handgun and pointed it at the victim, stating that he was taking the victim’s property. Jones then allegedly fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
