NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in Homicide at Michoud Boulevard / Interstate 10 East

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate a person of interest sought in the investigation of a homicide that occurred at Michoud Boulevard near the I-10 East exit on April 28, 2017.

At about 7:22 a.m., Seventh District officers responded to a call of a male down in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive unidentified adult male victim, about 35-40 years-old, lying in a wooded area and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The pictured subject is not currently wanted regarding this investigation. Detectives are looking for assistance in identifying the above subject for questioning related to this investigation.
