UPDATE: NOPD Arrests Subject in Seventh District Aggravated Assault With a Firearm

Update: Michael Lang turned himself in to NOPD Thursday morning January 23, 2018.

 

The NOPD is searching for a subject wanted in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm (domestic) and aggravated criminal damage (domestic) in the Seventh District.

 

The last known address of Michael Lang (B/M 4-5-1985), 10100 block of Pressburg Street.

 

On January 24, 2018, Lang was observed arriving to his ex-girlfriend’s house. He then rolled down the passenger window of his vehicle and discharged a firearm at the victim’s home while she was inside the residence with her four year old child.

 

The subject was seen driving a white Cheverolet Impala with a Lousiana license plate 687AJS. The vehicle is pictured here.

 

Lang is known to have in his possession a chrome revolver and has been convicted in the past for first-degree robbery.

 

A warrant has been issued for Lang for aggravated assault with a firearm (domestic) and aggravated criminal damage (domestic).

 

Lang is considered a flight risk and caution should be used when dealing with him.
