The NOPD is requesting assistance in locating a firearm reported as stolen in an auto burglary that occurred on January 13, 2020.
A Ruger 380 was reported stolen from the victim’s vehicle at about 9:00 p.m. while the vehicle was parked at the intersection of Tulane and South Robertson streets. The perpetrator(s) is believed to have gained access through the rear passenger window of the victim’s vehicle, which was found shattered and the gun was found to be missing from the victim’s center console.
For reference purposes, a photo is included of a gun similar to the gun reported stolen.
