Armed Robbery Involving Stolen Puppy

The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on February 24, 2026, at approximately 1:37 p.m. in the 9300 block of Belfast Street.

During the incident, the puppy pictured above was taken during an armed robbery at the intersection of Belfast Street and Monticello Street. The stolen puppy is described as a 13-week-old brindle Pit Bull mix.

The investigation is ongoing.
