The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating the perpetrator of a vehicle theft that occurred on January 30, 2025, in the 6200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
At about 11:15 a.m. on January 30, the pictured unknown black male subject arrived at the location on foot, lingered in the area and then entered the pictured U-Haul rental van and fled the location on Chef Menteur Highway. The vehicle was later recovered.
The suspect is described as wearing a red t-shirt with unknown gold and white lettering, a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants with multiple zippered pockets and red and black sneakers.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
