NOPD Searching for Dog Reported Stolen in the Fourth District

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a dog that was stolen from a yard in the Fourth District.

On January 17, 2023, the owner discovered his dog missing from outside of his residence in the 1500 block of Pace Boulevard.

The dog, (pictured, Rottweiler named 'Justice'), was reportedly taken to an animal clinic in Marrero, LA on January 27, 2023, where it was scanned for a microchip.  The Dog's owner was able to get a phone number for the person who brought the dog into the clinic.

That person provided the name "Ashley".  The victim attempted to meet up with Ashley to get his dog back, but she reportedly stopped answering his calls.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the dog 'Justice' or additional information about this case is asked to contact Fourth District detectives at (504) 658-6040 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-7867.
