The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Henry Johnson (top two photos, DOB: 12-03-1997) and Michael Hansel (bottom two photos, DOB: 10-03-1995) in connection with a purse snatching that occurred in the 1000 block of Dumaine Street on January 31, 2019.
During the incident, two unknown male subjects allegedly approached the victim from behind and placed the victim in a chokehold. As the victim lost consciousness, the two men began beating the victim with their fists and took the victim’s purse.
As investigation into the incident progressed, NOPD Eighth District officers were able to positively identify the subjects as Johnson and Hansel and obtain warrants for their arrests on one charge each of purse snatching and simple battery.
