Suspect Wanted for Breaking Surveillance Camera Outside of Restaurant

The NOPD is looking to identify and locate a man who was seen on surveillance video damaging property outside of Julie’s Kitchen.

The incident happened on February 13, 2017. The victim told police at about 8 a.m. she observed an unknown black male on her surveillance camera attempting to open the door of the business which is located in the 5600 block of Read Boulevard. The suspect then walked away and returned with a stick in his hand. The suspect was then seen swinging the stick at a surveillance camera that was placed outside of the business. The suspect then broke the camera.
