The NOPD needs the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for shoplifting.
The victim reported that on February 12, 2017, an unknown black male wearing a white sleeveless shirt, camouflage skinny jeans and a green and red baseball cap was observed taking merchandise from a store in the 4500 block of Old Gentilly Road.
He then fled the scene in a green Kia Sorento with a license plate covered with black tape.
