Suspect Sought for Aggravated Assault on Herschel Street

The NOPD IS LOOKING FOR Jeremy Francis (DOB: 12/14/1995) in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm.

 

On February 16, 2017, at approximately 12:03 p.m., the victim reported that Francis arrived at a residence in the 4600 block of Herschel Street waving a firearm and looking for his girlfriend.  After the victim advised Francis that his girlfriend was not at the residence, he pointed the firearm at the victim’s head and fired one shot, missing the victim. Francis then fled the scene on foot.

 

Francis is wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm and simple criminal damage to property.
