Suspect, Person of Interest Wanted for Armed Robbery at Shell Gas Station

Suspect, Person of Interest Wanted for Armed Robbery at Shell Gas Station

The NOPD is looking to identify and locate a man for his involvement in an armed robbery of a Shell gas station.

The incident happened on February 18, 2017. At around 4:38 a.m., an unknown white male was seen entering the store in the 4700 block of Canal Street. The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes from the cashier. The suspect was then seen fleeing on foot toward North St. Patrick street and then toward Iberville. A second subject was seen on surveillance video. Police believe that second subject may have valuable information but he is not wanted regarding this incident. 

The suspect in this incident was seen wearing all black clothing, a black bandana around his face and a black ‘USA’ baseball cap.
