The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the suspected perpetrator in its investigation of a homicide that occurred on December 15, 2024, in the 6100 block of Franklin Avenue and left two victims dead and two others injured.

At about 7:11 p.m., NOPD Third District officers responded to a report of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival the officers discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The first victim, a 16-year-old black male, was pronounced deceased on scene. The second and third victims – a 23-year-old black male and 22-year-old black male, respectively – were transported to a local hospital via private conveyance, where the second victim was later declared deceased. A fourth victim, a 17-year-old black male, was transported to a local area hospital via NOEMS.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Section detectives have obtained surveillance video of a suspect in this incident. The video can be viewed in the above media player.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
