The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of a firearm in the Third District.
On December 12, 2022 NOPD officers responded to 2100 block of Benefit Street in connection with the theft of a firearm.
Through investigation, officers identified Darrell Johnson (pictured, black male DOB: 10/08/1966) as the alleged perpetrator in this incident.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
