NOPD Searching for Aggravated Assault Suspect

NOPD Searching for Aggravated Assault Suspect

The NOPD is searching for a suspect in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred in the Fourth District on December 19, 2022, in the 5800 block of Abbey Drive.

At about 7:30 p.m. the victim reported the suspect and an unknown female arrived at the victim's home and allegedly began making threatening statements to the victim.  The suspect then allegedly pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the victim and threatened to kill the victim.  The second female subject was also armed and allegedly brandished her weapon as well.  Both females then fled the home.

Through investigation, Cashmere Raines, (pictured, black female, DOB: 05-23-2003) was identified as a perpetrator in this incident and a warrant for aggravated assault with a firearm has been issued for her arrest.
