NOPD Asking for Help Locating Stolen Dog

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a dog that was stolen from a yard in the 900 block of Leboeuf Street in the Fourth District on December 27, 2022.

At about 9:20 a.m. the dog's owner let the dog outside in her yard along with another dog and went back inside.  When she returned a short time later, she noticed one dog was missing.  Witnesses told her that an unknown black female on a bicycle removed the dog from inside the fence and fled.

The missing dog, pictured, is a black, white and brown Yorkie weighing approximately 5lbs.  The dog is microchipped with #985113002436115.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, please contact any Fourth District Detective at (504) 658-6040 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111 or toll-free at 1(877) 903-7867.
