NOPD VOWS, U.S. Marshals Arrest Suspect on Multiple Charges in Fourth District

The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad (VOWS) and the U.S. Marshals today (December 29, 2021) arrested Joshua Pepp (pictured, black male, DOB: 05-17-1988) on multiple charges.

Through investigation, NOPD Fourth District detectives obtained an arrest warrant on December 15 for Pepp on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm, domestic abuse battery strangulation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, false imprisonment and theft. The charges stemmed from incidents reported on December 15 in the 1200 block of Flanders Street.

NOPD VOWS and the U.S. Marshals apprehended Pepp at his residence and without incident. Upon execution of a search warrant at the location, NOPD Fourth District detectives and officers discovered two firearms, firearm accessories, drug paraphernalia and multiple clear plastic bags containing vegetable matter, powered substances and multi-colored pills. Based on these discoveries, detectives additionally charged Pepp for illegal possession of CDS and one count of Illegal Possession of a stolen firearm.
