Suspect Sought in First District Armed Robbery

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify a suspect in the investigation of an armed robbery that occurred on December 7, 2020 in the 3000 block of St. Peter Street.

At approximately 7:26 p.m., the victim was removing items from their vehicle. The pictured subject reportedly appeared, produced a firearm and demanded the keys to the vehicle. Not in possession of the keys at the time, the victim was ushered to their home at gunpoint and ordered to retrieve the keys. Fearfully complying, the victim relinquished the keys to the subject. The subject fled in the victim’s vehicle.

The subject is described as a medium complexion black male, approximately 5’5” or slightly taller, mid-late teens or early 20’s, wearing in a blueish face mask, gray hooded sweatshirt with black writing and dark colored pants.
