NOPD Arrests Suspect Found in Possession of Stolen Vehicle Used in Armed Robbery

On December 3, 2020, the NOPD arrested Germaine Moses Jr. (pictured, male, DOB: 02-14-1995) after he was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle that was also found to be involved in an armed robbery.

At about 11:00 a.m., NOPD Seventh District detectives were notified that a stolen 2020 Chevrolet Malibu bearing Florida license plate DFSR37 was reportedly used to commit an armed robbery in St. Bernard Parish earlier that day. Through tracking, the vehicle was located in the 7800 block of Venice Boulevard in the Seventh District, where Moses Jr. was also located and apprehended. Moses Jr. was found to be in possession of the vehicle’s key fob as well as a handgun with an extended magazine.
