NOPD Arrests Subject Wanted in Seventh District Armed Robbery

The NOPD has arrested a subject wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the Seventh District.

The incident occurred on November 11, 2020 around 4:25 p.m. in the 13000 block of Willowbrook Drive.

Subsequent investigation determined Kenneth McMillan, Jr. (B/M DOB: 5/8/2001) is one of the accused perpetrators.

On Sunday, December 13, 2020, an NOPD officer working a paid detail, observed McMillan at business in the 6000 block of Bullard Avenue.

The officer alerted the NOPD dispatcher of McMillan’s presence at the location.  Additional Seventh District officers arrived on scene and apprehended McMillan without incident.

McMillan was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center and booked for the state felony charges related to the Willowbrook Drive incident:

  • Armed robbery with a firearm
  • Second-degree aggravated battery

McMillan was also booked on the following charges for an unrelated incident:

  • Second-degree armed kidnapping
  • False imprisonment (offender armed with a dangerous weapon)
  • Violation of protective orders
  • Simple criminal damage to property 
  • Aggravated assault with a firearm
