Suspect Sought in Eighth District Theft

The NOPD is seeking to locate a suspect in the investigation of a theft that occurred on November 24, 2019.

At about 2:00 a.m., the victim reportedly met an unknown black female in the Eighth District. The victim and the unknown black female relocated to the victim’s hotel room in the 100 block of Iberville Street.  Once inside of the room, the victim fell asleep. When the victim woke, he discovered his debit card was missing and further discovered that he had fraudulent charges on the card, as someone had used the debit card to wire money to various Venmo accounts using the name of Jodora Pulaski. Upon researching the name, the victim found it to be connected online to photos of the same female he had met the previous night.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers GNO at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
