NOPD Seeking Suspect in Simple Robbery on Bourbon Street

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a subject believed to be responsible for a simple robbery that occurred on December 17, 2018 in the 400 block of Bourbon Street.

At about 9:00 p.m., the pictured subject reportedly followed the victim into the restroom of a business. The victim was reportedly attempting to give the subject $5 out of charity. However, the subject allegedly observed the victim to be in possession of more cash than he was willing to give and snatched the entire amount from the victim’s hand. The subject then reportedly fled Bourbon Street north bound on Conti Street toward Dauphine Street .
