NOPD Seeking Suspect in Simple Robbery in First District

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying the pictured subject in the investigation into a simple robbery incident that occurred on December 7, 2018.

At about 4:00 a.m., the victim reportedly met the pictured subject in an unknown block of Bourbon Street on December 7, 2018. Shortly thereafter, the subject allegedly called for an unknown black male associate to pick herself and the victim up with the stated intent of relocating to another bar. During the drive, the vehicle reportedly diverted to the Chase Bank in the 1400 block of North Broad Street, where the victim was allegedly ordered by the driver to take out money for the ride. After making his withdrawal, the female subject reportedly wrestled the victim’s wallet away from him and passed it to the driver and the two fled the scene. The victim later hailed a Lyft ride to a safe location where he contacted the police.

Anyone with additional information on this incident or the pictured female subject is asked to contact NOPD First District detectives at 504-658-6010, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
