Suspect Arrested for Aggravated Battery by Shooting on North Rocheblave

The NOPD Fifth District arrested Telly Cook (DOB: 11/05/1999) today (Dec. 4) after he was seen on surveillance video firing shots at a victim on North Rocheblave Street.

The incident happened around 12:11 p.m. Surveillance video shows a green older model Honda pulling up in front of a business in the 2000 block of North Rocheblave Street and coming to a stop.  Cook then exited the vehicle from rear passenger seat and fired shots at the victim.

The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the left thigh. The driver of the vehicle and Cook then fled the scene westbound on North Rocheblave Street then in an unknown direction.

Cook turned himself in today at the Seventh District station on Dwyer Road.
