The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate two males seen on surveillance video in connection with an attempted simple robbery that occurred on December 17, 2017 at the intersections of Press Drive and Pressburg Street.

The victim told police that at about 4:40 p.m., she and her friends were in the area to exercise when a blue Nissan SUV pulled up near them at the intersection of Press Drive and Pressburg Street. The victim said that a younger black male wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans then exited the vehicle and wrapped his arms around her, demanding the victim’s cell phone, to which the victim refused.

The victim said that several vehicles pulled over as the incident took place, at which time the subject released the victim and re-entered the Nissan SUV operated by another black male and fled the scene.

Surveillance video footage of the persons of interest can be viewed at https://youtu.be/Dl8MGUXkblU.

The two persons of interest are not wanted in connection with this incident. However, detectives feel these individuals may have knowledge of information pertinent to this investigation and wish to question them.
