NOPD Arrests Suspect for Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm

On November 30, 2017, the NOPD arrested Ronald Pierre (DOB: 09-18-00) after he was found to be in possession of a handgun reported stolen.

At or about 5:13 a.m., Seventh District Detectives executed a high risk search warrant with the assistance of the VOWS Unit and Seventh District Task Force. While executing the search warrant, the detectives located in Pierre’s bedroom a revolver that was reported stolen in an auto burglary incident.

Pierre was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
