This week was all about giving back as NOPD officers across the city helped spread some holiday cheer.
Over the past seven days, officers gave out brand new toys to close to 500 kids in New Orleans. The NOPD new peer intervention program also took center stage at a national conference on policing in the city and officers busted two men after they tried to break into a jewelry store right next to the Eighth district police station.
