Suspects Wanted for Simple Robbery at Canal and Treme Street

The NOPD is searching for two adult suspects and a juvenile after they reportedly robbed a victim at the intersection of Canal and Treme Street.

The incident happened on November 24, 2016  at 12:30 a.m. The victim told police she was waiting for a ride sharing service to pick her up at the intersection. The victim stated while waiting an unknown black male approached her from behind and placed his hands on her neck and started demanding her purse and phone.The victim stated she complied and gave the suspect her belongings. The victim also told police she noticed a female and juvenile standing near the suspect. After a witness spotted the activity, all three were then seen running in an unknown direction.

The male suspect is described as being a slim, black male. He was seen wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.
