Suspect Wanted for Burglarizing Home on General Degaulle Drive

The NOPD is searching for Amanda Salvant (DOB: 12-10-1981) for burglarizing a home in the 2300 block of General Degaulle Drive.

The incident happened on December 16, 2016. The victim told police at around 10:45 p.m. she was awoken by Salvant knocking on her room door inquiring about the victim’s roommate. The victim then told police she asked Salvant to leave the home; however, Slavant relocated to the victim’s wash room and grabbed three bottles of bleach and a bottle of cleaning solutions before running out the side door.

Salvant also has several outstanding warrants including in Jefferson Parish.
