Suspect Wanted for Auto Theft on Chef Menteur Highway

The NOPD is looking for Donald Butler (DOB: 05/29/1956) after he reportedly took a 2010, white Toyota Camry from the 9000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

The incident happened on December 16, 2016. At around 6 a.m., the victim told police he was jump starting his daughter’s Toyota Camry with his neighbor’s vehicle. The victim stated after he was able to start the car, he kept the engine running and relocated to his apartment for a few minutes. The victim said when he returned back to the car, he noticed Butler in the vehicle driving off down Chef Menteur Highway.
