Suspect Identified in Stabbing on North Tonti Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Terrance Richard (DOB: 06-22-1979), who detectives believe is responsible for a stabbing that occurred on December 22, 2016 in the 3300 block of North Tonti Street.

At about 3:40 p.m., the victim and Richard were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation which turned physical. During the physical altercation, Richard reportedly produced an object and began to cut the victim multiple times to the left arm before fleeing the scene. During the course of the investigation, Richard was positively identified as the perpetrator in this incident.
