NOPD Investigates Homicide on North Dorgenois Street

NOPD Investigates Homicide on North Dorgenois Street

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred just before midnight (Dec.12) in the 2100 block of North Dorgenois Street.

At around 11:36 p.m., Fifth District officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area. Once officers arrived, they discovered a male victim in his early 30s lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest area. The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.

The Coroner’s office will release the victim’s name and the official cause of death. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
