NOPD Arrests Two Suspects for Possession of Stolen Vehicle on Lucerne Street

NOPD Seventh District officers, assisted by NOPD Canine Unit officers, arrested two suspects after they were found driving a stolen vehicle in the 7900 block of Lucerne Street on November 30, 2016.

At about 8:30 p.m., Seventh District officers responded to a call of an armed robbery in the 8600 block of Chef Menteur Highway. Based on information and evidence obtained from previous armed robbery investigations, officers began searching the immediate area for a secondary vehicle involved. Within minutes, officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle when it stopped in the 7900 block of Lucerne Street, at which time two subjects fled from the vehicle on foot.

Officers immediately established a perimeter to contain the two suspects. With the assistance of NOPD Canine officers, both subjects were apprehended without incident. It was learned the vehicle the subjects were in was reported stolen earlier the same day.

Arrested in the incident were Terrell Dolliole (DOB: 05-20-1990) and Tyree Quinn (DOB: 01-21-1990). Both subjects were charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. Photos of the two are included with this release.

At this time, detectives are still investigating to determine if there is any connection between the suspects and the armed robbery on Chef Menteur Highway.
