NOPD Arrests Suspect Wanted in Connection to Three Burglaries

The NOPD Violent Offender Violent Warrant Squad (VOWS) unit has arrested Andrew McRoyal (DOB: 11/13/66) for three residential burglaries.

On May 25, 2016, three residences in the 1300 block of Marigny Street were burglarized. The victims reported that their homes were broken into and computers and related equipment were stolen.

During the course of the investigation, McRoyal was developed as a suspect and Fifth District Detective Bryan Mulvey was able to obtain an arrest warrant for simple burglary.

McRoyal was arrested in the 5700 block of Prince Lane this morning (Dec. 14) without incident.
