NEW ORLEANS- The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating Xavier Rene Sauceda (White male, DOB: March 13, 1967), who is wanted in connection with an ongoing Theft by Fraud investigation.
The incident occurred on June 12, 2026, at approximately 2:30 a.m., in the 500 block of Canal Street.
According to Investigators, it was determined that the victim's cellular phone and bank cards were stolen. The stolen financial information was subsequently used to conduct a fraudulent Zelle transaction by Xavier Rene Sauceda.
Sauceda is believed to be driving a 2009 Chevrolet SUV bearing Texas license plate SWW6609.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
