New Orleans Police are asking for the Publics assistance with locating a suspect wanted for burglary and illegal possession of stolen things.
Wanted is Kim Edwin Martin (pictured), Black male , DOB 01/08/1961, height 5' 11", and weight 175 pounds. Also known as "Red".
Around 5:14 p.m. on August 2, 2026, a residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Verbena Street. Taken in the burglary were various items and a lawn mower. Later on the date, Kim Edwin Martin pawned the lawn mower and other items reported stolen in the burglary. A warrant is on file for his arrest.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
