New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for aggravated second degree battery by shooting and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Wanted is Dwan Butler (pictured), Black male, DOB 03/19/2005. He is also known by the nickname “Phoo”.
According to investigators, an aggravated battery by shooting occurred around 11:25 p.m. p.m. on July 25, 2026 in the 100 block of Carondelet Street.
Through investigation, Dwan Butler has been identified as being a suspect. A warrant is on file for his arrest.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
