NOPD is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect in connection with an aggravated assault with a firearm investigation.
On July 6, 2026, at about 1:30 p.m., Sixth District officers were called to an aggravated assault in the 2100 block of Reverend John Raphael Jr Way.
Upon arrival they met two victims. One was a rideshare driver who claimed the pictured black male approached him while he was parked in the area and then pulled a gun on him and told him to leave. The victim complied.
Another victim, a female, reported that after the rideshare driver left, the suspect approached her making unwanted advances. As she fled into a home, he fired several shots at her, but she was not hit.
Through investigation the pictured person was identified as the perpetrator. He is described as a 5'3" tall, thin Black male with dark skin. He may go by the nickname 'Lil Youngin'.
