New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft.
Wanted is Darrell Smith (pictured), Black male, DOB 09/21/1964.
According to investigators, around 9:38 p.m. on June 21, 2025 Darrell Smith entered a hotel bar in the Central Business District and stole the victim's purse before fleeing. Please note Darrell Smith is known to frequent businesses in the CBD and French Quarter areas, committing thefts of purses.
